CHIMPANZEES TREAT THE DEATH OF CLOSE RELATION AS PEOPLE

Chimpanzees treat the death of close relation as people. scientists from Scottish University of Stirling, filmed a group of chimpanzees, which show sorrow because older female died. few days after her death the animals were very sad and behaved very calmly, as if they were mired in mourning.
- In the past, people single out several areas, which were distinguish man from animals. It was a capacity for reasoning, use of language, use tools, cultural diversity and self-awareness, whereas science provides mounting evidence that these differences aren’t as pronounced as once thought. Awareness of death is another psychological phenomenon that can also be observed in animals - says Professor James Anderson.

  1. I think we are really close...the chimps and us...

Although some humans don't look like chimps, they pretty often behave like ones...with all due respect to monkeys ;)
